Anti‑Money Laundering (AML) Policy — EK333WIN (Bangladesh)

At EK333WIN we take financial integrity and the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing very seriously. This page explains, in straightforward language for players in Bangladesh, how we prevent, detect, and report suspicious activity — and what you as a player should expect and do. This policy is written to be transparent and practical. It is not legal advice.

Why AML matters to you (and to us)

Money laundering and related crimes harm ordinary players and communities. They can also expose players and platforms to criminal investigation, frozen funds, and reputational damage. To protect customers and ensure we operate responsibly, EK333WIN applies strong AML measures including customer identification, transaction monitoring, recordkeeping, and cooperation with Bangladeshi authorities and international agencies.

Legal and regulatory context (short summary)

  • Bangladesh’s primary framework for combating money laundering is the Money Laundering Prevention Act, 2012 and related rules; reporting organizations must cooperate with authorities and follow reporting obligations.

  • The Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) is the central agency that receives and analyzes Suspicious Transaction/Activity Reports (STRs/SARs) and coordinates AML efforts. EK333WIN will comply with obligations under applicable Bangladeshi law and BFIU directives.

  • Globally, gaming and casino activities are recognized as potentially vulnerable to ML/TF risks; industry best practice calls for risk‑based customer due diligence (CDD), transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity reporting. We apply these international standards as part of our compliance program.

Note: The legal status of online gambling in Bangladesh is complex and has seen increased enforcement attention; our AML measures operate alongside all applicable laws and regulatory guidance.

Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to:

  • All registered EK333WIN players;

  • Any person making deposits, withdrawals, or other financial transactions through ek333win.com;

  • EK333WIN staff and third‑party service providers involved in payments, customer support, and compliance.

Key AML measures we use

1. Customer Identification (KYC)

Before processing deposits or withdrawals above defined limits, we verify the identity of players using reliable documents or digital verification methods. Typical KYC checks include:

  • Government‑issued photo ID (passport, national ID);

  • Proof of address (utility bill, bank statement);

  • Verification of payment method ownership (screenshots/verification tokens where required).

We may also perform ongoing identity re‑checks if activity appears unusual.

2. Risk‑based Customer Due Diligence (CDD)

We assess risk at account opening and continually during the customer relationship. High‑risk indicators include—among others—large or rapid movement of funds, use of opaque payment chains, or attempts to repeatedly deposit and withdraw small amounts (structuring). For high‑risk players we implement Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD), which may include requesting source‑of‑fund documentation and additional identity evidence.

3. Transaction Monitoring & Thresholds

We monitor payments and gameplay patterns for unusual or potentially illicit behavior. Transactions that meet or exceed risk thresholds, or that match suspicious typologies (including rapid deposits/withdrawals, use of multiple payment instruments, or large single‑event wins followed by immediate withdrawals), are flagged for review. Industry guidance suggests applying CDD for occasional transactions above commonly used thresholds (for gaming, guidance often references thresholds around USD/EUR 3,000 as a trigger for additional review), and we adopt a conservative approach in line with FATF guidance.

4. Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR/STR)

If we detect suspected money laundering or terrorist financing, EK333WIN will file a Suspicious Transaction/Activity Report with the Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) and cooperate with law enforcement as required by law. Players must not try to interfere with company investigations or delete evidence; doing so may lead to account suspension and referral to authorities.

5. Sanctions & PEP Screening

We screen customers and transactions against international sanctions lists and maintain procedures for dealing with Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs). If a sanctions match or a high‑risk PEP relationship is identified, we follow legally required steps — including possible transaction blocking and reporting.

6. Recordkeeping and Audit

EK333WIN retains transaction records, KYC documents, and investigation logs for the period required by law to support audits and regulatory inquiries. These records are stored securely and only used for compliance purposes.

7. Staff training and internal controls

All EK333WIN employees receive regular AML training, and we maintain an internal compliance team responsible for policy implementation, investigations, and regulatory reporting.

Player responsibilities (what we expect from you)

  • Provide accurate identity and contact details during registration and whenever asked.

  • Keep documents and payment method details valid and up to date.

  • Respond promptly to requests for additional information when EK333WIN initiates a KYC or AML check.

  • Do not attempt to circumvent controls (e.g., using other people’s accounts, multiple aliases, or unverified payment instruments).
    Failure to comply may result in account restrictions, forfeiture of funds, and reporting to authorities.

What happens if your account is flagged

If your account or a transaction is flagged for review:

  1. You may receive a request to provide additional documents (e.g., bank statements, proof of income, payment screenshots).

  2. We will temporarily restrict withdrawals or certain account operations until the review is complete.

  3. If evidence of illicit activity is found, we will report to BFIU and may freeze or close the account in accordance with law.

  4. If cleared, restrictions will be lifted and you will be notified.

We aim to complete routine reviews quickly, but investigations that involve law enforcement or complex documentation can take longer.

Data protection and confidentiality

All personal and financial data collected for AML and KYC purposes is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We limit access to sensitive information to authorized compliance personnel, and we use encryption and secure storage to protect data. Information will only be shared with regulators, law enforcement, or other reporting bodies when required by law.

Sanctions, third‑party providers & payment partners

We work with trusted payment providers and apply screening on third parties used for deposits and withdrawals. Where a payment partner or jurisdiction raises heightened ML/TF risk, we may limit or suspend those services to protect players and the platform.

Cooperation with authorities

EK333WIN cooperates fully with the Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU), law enforcement agencies, and competent foreign authorities in cross‑border investigations, as required by law.

Frequently Asked Questions (short)

Q: Why do you ask for my ID or bank statement?
A: To verify identity and the legitimate source of funds — a required step under AML rules and best practice for protecting players.

Q: Will EK333WIN share my information publicly?
A: No. We share information only with relevant authorities and partners when legally required, and we protect your data under our Privacy Policy.

Q: My withdrawal was delayed — is that because of AML checks?
A: Possibly. If a transaction triggers review (e.g., large amount, new payment method), we may hold it temporarily while we complete verification checks.
